On April 30, 2011, a man's choice to drive drunk took the lives of two GREAT MEN. Our husbands, Dan Gambardella and Ilario (Larry) Scuteri, were on their way to work when their car was struck and driven off the road by an illegal immigrant drunk driver. Sadly, our husbands died instantly. On that morning of April 30, 2011, our lives as we knew them were gone, changed forever in an instant. Along with our husbands, parts of us died that early morning too. Our lives have been altered forever. We are left to pick up the pieces and try to create a "new normal" for our children. A new normal our children never wanted.
Last year, we walked along with many of you only 5 weeks after Dan and Larry were killed while we were still on AUTO PILOT. At this years WALK on Saturday, June 2, we ask that you walk with us in WALK LIKE MADD in MEMORY OF DAN AND LARRY and for a cause we, unfortunately, know the VALUE of. In the last 8 1/2 months we have lived with the DEVASTATION that drunk driving leaves behind for the family of the victims. We now know what it is like to look in our children's eyes and see a look of deep sorrow and pain. A look, as mothers, we want to 'make all better' but this is something we, even as mothers, can't fix or 'make better' for our children.
In these last 8 1/2 months, MADD has supported us on this overwhelming, scary and painful journey and has provided insight into the world of the Nassau County Criminal Court System for which we are now a part of and for which we continue to fight for justice for Dan and Larry.
We walk this year again for Dan and Larry in hopes to raise enough awareness about the dangers of drunk/drugged driving. We pray to put a stop to this! Drunk driving is a CHOICE PLEASE CHOOSE NOT TO DRINK/DRUG AND DRIVE. We can not save our husbands' lives but we can help save others. The drunk driver may have silenced Dan and Larry on that fateful morning but he will NOT SILENCE SANDY AND I. We will continue to seek justice for Dan and Larry. We ask that you walk and/or donate to join Sandy and I so that the VOICES of the victims of drunk driving will be HEARD.

Meade was granted the opportunity to speak directly to the United States District Court Central District of California and address Honorable Cormac J Carney for No. SACR 07-00249-CJC at the sentencing hearing for the convicted felons mentioned. Meade provided details of the organizational structure of the ORM entities and a two-step process of coupling the creation and posting of online defamatory materials in a fee-for-service of removing of the content from online consumer advocacy websites. Meade's testimony provoked an order from the court for an evidentiary hearing to discover further details on Meade's information. However, the Court subsequently withdrew the order following the receipt of sealed information from the US Attorney's Office.
According to Meade he resigned in February 2010, after a company for which he was the CEO, had funds embezzled to purchase a hacking code which had been sold to the largest players in ORM for over the last four years.
Meade provided explicit details of this enterprise (including contracts, emails, and consensually recorded audio recordings of planning meetings) to the FBI and US Attorney divisions of the Santa Ana, California DOJ. No investigative action was taken.
"My testimony to the Court has now proven true; the code has been used to silence victims, and legitimate consumer complaints about fraudulent business practices, doctors practicing without proper training. Plans were made to even sway election results. It can be used to make content disappear on search engines and private web servers."
Meade said once he discovered the technology was hacking and what its implications were, he made it his mission to warn the public about the dangers this technology poses to free speech. He also understood the institutionalized repertoire of serial defamation, vexatious litigation, and death threats have all be leveled against him in a futile attempt to force him to retreat from his stated goal.
Meade also stated that Ripoff Report has reversed the hack and is now the only completely secure site impenetrable to hacker code that he is aware of. What else has been deleted from the internet outside of Ripoff Report that has never been restored? What is being censored from us in the search engines we use every day? My fear is all the other websites, forums and search engines are vulnerable and that they have moved into phase two, becoming king makers for the political party who pays them the most. I know this might sound like a conspiracy theory, until you understand the former political chairman associated with the group.

I’m not sure what I would have done without Innovative Credit Consultants. It’s really difficult to have anyone take you seriously in the financial world if your credit is less than ideal.
I have a long family heritage that can be traced back to Colonial America. I am proud of my family, especially its traditions. One of these traditions is naming the firstborn son’s eldest son after the founding father of our family. As fate would have it, my father was the first born, so my grandparents named him John after my great, great, great, great, grandfather. Then, twenty four years later, I was his first born son and I was given the honor of carrying on the family tradition. Now, my eldest son is John too.
The tradition always gave me a sense of belonging, however, sometimes tradition and modern day practices conflict. Three living generations of John Caldwells have completely wreaked havoc on our credit scores. It wasn’t until my wife and I tried to buy a house that we were made aware of the problem. The bank came back to me and said they wouldn’t be able to give us a loan due to my low score. I was surprised since I didn’t have any outstanding debts and if I was almost never late with my payments.
I went home that day and checked out my score. To my astonishment, my report was a mile long with my father’s information and mine entwined. Out of curiosity, I had my teenage son run his and we discovered that both my information and my father’s were on my son’s report too. We spent hours on the phone speaking to creditors and bureaus trying to straighten out the mess. We had little to no success.
Then, a friend of mine suggested that we go and speak to the representatives at Innovative Credit Consultants. They were very courteous and assured us that they would straighten everything out. They even suggested how my son could start developing his credit for the future, something my wife and I never really considered. All of their suggestions were clearly explained and they worked diligently on our files.
Today, both my father and I have scored well over 700. We would never have been able to make it happen. Not only did they help fix our reports, but they continue to give us suggestions as to how to keep them high. I highly recommend this knowledgeable, reliable, and friendly company. Today I am going to share a story that might be kind of disturbing to you guys. It was disturbing for me the first time I heard it. But I think the story has an important message that we need to spread and raise awareness about.
In September 2007, young mother Krista Stryland went in for a liposuction procedure at the Toronto Cosmetic Clinc. She would never return. Turns out, the "surgeon" that performed the procedure on her, was not a surgeon at all. The doctor had no surgical experience, no surgical accreditation. She removed too much fat and fluid from Krista, way more than what is allowed. And, after the procedure, she only spent 30 seconds evaluation Krista's condition before going ahead and moving on to another patient.
Dr. Behnaz Yazdanfar has been stripped of her licence to practise medicine for two years and indefinitely banned from performing surgery on her own following the 2007 death of Krista Stryland
At her hearing, it was noted:
"“She operated on patients who should have had their procedures done in hospital,” the ruling noted. “She did larger operations than she should have done. She discharged patients inappropriately. These errors in judgment spanned her practice and were not isolated events.”
What happened to Krista? She died. What happened to Krista's little boy? He has no mommy. What happened to the doctor? Umm. She was stripped of her medical license for two years. She can apply for her license to be reinstated after a year, and even then, she can still be a surgical assistant.
Ridiculous.
So, when Krista's friends and families tried to spread the word to warn others about this doctor's actions... Allegedly, the doctor's office revenue plummeted... So what was the doctor's office to do?? They hired someone to HACK sites like Ripoff Report to remove these reports and silence victim's families. I find this to be horrible!
I can't believe that this site and this man would consciously remove the reports that were warning others about this!
I find this very disturbing and I wanted to share this story with others so that you can be informed about this type of hacking and that it does in fact, exist.

Anonymous bloggers identified and postings deleted from the Internet many people have no idea of the potential liability they face when they publish something online. Often, the cloak of anonymity gives a false sense of security. It is important to remember that there is never any real expectation of privacy on the Internet; even postings made at public locations such as libraries and internet cafes can be tracked if necessary. Most bloggers and people responding to blogs have no understanding of the distinctions between expressions of opinion and libel.These are some of the ways to help make your blog or web site more anonymous on the internet and if I find any other ways, I’ll add them.

Is anyone researching time travel?
Dr. Seth Lloyd, an MIT professor and self-described "quantum mechanic," describes the quantum mechanics behind time travel during a guest lecture at the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo (www.iqc.ca). Recorded on Nov. 4, 2010, this is entire lecture entitled "Sending a Photon Backwards in Time."
Dr. Lloyd also sat down for a one-on-one interview at IQC, during which he discusses the weirdness (and beautiful simplicity) of quantum mechanics, and the incredible importance of quantum information research. Excerpts from this interview are below:
